There is something special about gathering around the things we make with our hands.
The Brazos Valley Fiber Festival brings fiber artists, makers, teachers, vendors and the simply fiber-curious together for a weekend celebrating yarn, textiles, traditional skills and the wonderfully creative ways fiber continues to evolve. Whether you knit, crochet, spin, weave, felt, dye, stitch or are just beginning to wonder what you might make next, there is a place for you here.
What began as an idea in 2024 became our first Brazos Valley Fiber Festival in March 2025. Our second festival followed in 2026 and made something very clear: the Brazos Valley was ready for more. That enthusiasm helped inspire the creation of Brazos Valley Fiber Arts, a year-round nonprofit organization dedicated to building a stronger fiber arts community throughout Bryan/College Station through classes, gatherings, exhibitions, visiting artists and other opportunities to learn, make and connect.
The festival remains at the heart of that story. Each March, we welcome vendors and fiber artists from Texas and beyond to Bryan, bringing beautiful yarns, fibers, tools, notions, handmade work and plenty of inspiration with them. It is a weekend for discovering something new, reconnecting with old friends, meeting the people behind the work and spending a little time among people who understand why an entire room full of yarn is a perfectly reasonable place to be.
